BUCKET DRUMMER
Thomas Brown's drumming is an essential part of Portland's audio landscape. His buckets' thuds and clacks fill Pioneer Square during a lunch rush, or keep beat to the sports fans spilling from the Moda Center after a Trail Blazers game.
This short project is an experiment for me, a return to thinking in timelines instead of contact sheets. Thanks to Thomas for allowing to me film him drumming and his family for letting me visit them during a birthday party last summer.
